Copywriter (YouTube Scriptwriter)
Fully remote, anywhere in the world · Full time · Competitive base + performance bonuses
Are you a copywriter who is genuinely obsessed with writing?
Not "I can write." Obsessed. The kind of person who rewrites a hook six times because the fifth version was only good.
And when you hear "research and write every video for a business YouTube channel that is going to become one of the biggest personal brands in the world," does that excite you?
If so, this might be your dream role.
To be clear:
- This is not a social media manager role.
- This is not a "turn bullet points into captions" job.
- This is not a one-script-a-month freelance gig.
We are looking for a world-class writer who wants to become one of the best YouTube scriptwriters in the industry, and who is willing to put in the reps to get there.
Who we are
Razvan Paraschiv built Faceless Channels Academy, which has taught more than 3,000 people since 2021 how to build and monetize faceless YouTube channels. Razvan's personal brand has grown to 1.5M+ followers on Instagram (@razvanpb), driven entirely by organic content.
Now we are going all in on YouTube.
Our mission is to build a world-class business personal brand on the level of Alex Hormozi, Grant Cardone, Gary Vee, and Patrick Bet-David. To do that we need to publish a high volume of genuinely great long-form content, consistently, for years. The business channel is Razvan Paraschiv on YouTube, and this role owns the words that go into every video on it.
Your mission
Research, structure, and write every YouTube video we produce for the business channel, at a standard that keeps viewers watching to the end.
You are not writing in a vacuum. You will sit between our strategy team (who decide what videos to make and why) and Razvan (the talent, whose voice, stories, and opinions every script has to sound like). Your job is to turn their direction and his raw thinking into finished, word-for-word scripts that perform.
What you will actually do
- Take a brief and turn it into a structure. Every video starts with an idea, brief, or set of considerations from the strategy team. From there you research what already exists on the topic, study the best-performing videos in the space, identify the best practices for that type of video, and propose a structure built to win.
- Extract the raw material. You will work directly with the strategy team and with Razvan to get his personal thoughts, opinions, and past experience on every topic. You will also have full access to our internal assets: every paid program we sell, every previous YouTube video and transcript, recorded calls and conversations. You mine all of it for the stories, frameworks, and proof that make a script land.
- Write the script, word for word. Most scripts run about 20 minutes, roughly 3,000 words. Each one needs a deliberate structure, strong hooks and open loops, and pacing built for retention. The script is the product. It has to be world-class.
- Ship at volume. We start at 10 YouTube videos per month. Not every script is written from scratch: a lot of our material gets repurposed and repackaged across multiple videos. But you must be comfortable producing multiple high-quality scripts every week, not one a month.
- Learn from the numbers. You will join regular strategy and analysis calls where we review how videos performed: which structures held retention, which stories landed, which hooks fell flat. You take those lessons into the next batch.
Who this role is for
- You are an experienced copywriter with real writing credits: video sales letters, ads, emails, sales pages, or scripts for YouTube and social media.
- You are passionate about writing itself. This role is 80% writing and research.
- You know how to write in someone else's voice without flattening it.
- You understand what makes long-form video hold attention: hooks, structure, storytelling, pacing, payoffs.
- You can work fast without the quality dropping.
- You take feedback well and get measurably better with every script.
How we work
This is not a 9-to-5. You set your own schedule and can work from anywhere, in any time zone. In return we expect:
- Availability on Slack for messages and ad-hoc calls across a 12-hour window each day
- A couple of team meetings and briefing calls per week
- Willingness to work seven days a week when the work calls for it. We are building something big and we move fast. If you want a fixed 40-hour week, this is not the role.
We invest in you. You will get access to our internal courses and programs, worth more than $10,000, to sharpen your craft. Our goal is for you to become one of the greatest YouTube copywriters working today, and we will give you the material and the reps to get there.
Our core values
1. Will to Win. How badly do you want it? Are you willing to move mountains? We are a team of A-players and winners, and we only work with people who want to succeed badly, will work hard for it, and become the best version of themselves in the process.
2. 1% Better. We look for 1% improvements every day, every week, every month, in all of our work. We want someone who is open, willing to learn, and visibly better in month six than in month one.
3. Speed. We are obsessed with speed. Move as fast as possible, learn as fast as possible, fail as fast as possible, get better, and hit the goal sooner than anyone thought possible.
Compensation
- Competitive base, paid monthly
- Performance bonuses tied to output and video results
- Exact numbers discussed with the candidate at interview
- Fully remote; any country, any time zone
How to apply
- Fill out the application below. Answer every question in detail. One-line answers are disqualified immediately.
- Attach your best writing samples. If you have written YouTube scripts, send the scripts and links to the published videos. If your background is VSLs, ads, or emails, send the pieces you are proudest of and tell us what they did.
- Interview rounds. A first call with our strategy team, a second with Razvan, and a short paid test script so we can see how you research, structure, and write a real video from a real brief.
That's it. If you have read this far and it sounds like you, apply.
